On a recent visit to my parents house (2 weeks ago) we were sitting outside on their patio chairs having a nice chat while the sun was getting ready to set and the kids were playing around the yard. All of a sudden out of no where arrived a bunch of Dragon Flies. I was shocked as I hadn't seen a Dragon Fly in a number of years it was exciting to see a bunch of them all at once and they were big too! I managed to get a picture of one as it took a breather on the chair it was very beautiful. We are heading back for another visit next weekend and hopefully we will get to see some more fun animals/insects.

Wonderful shot! I love seeing the pretty blue of the table through the dragonfly's wings. Too cool!
Great capture. We had so many in our yard in Florida, some days it looked like a Dragonfly ball they way they would "dance" in the air, rarely setting down.

It's so perfect that it almost seems fake - like a kids plastic dragon fly that's been stuck to the chair ;)
But I do believe that it's real - and I too would have been snapping away to share on cc.
